Mark your calendars for the 20th edition of Design Miami, returning to its flagship location at Pride Park from December 4 to 8, 2024, with an exciting Preview Day on December 3! This year, under the insightful curatorial direction of Glenn Adamson, we’re embracing the theme “Blue Sky.” This captivating motif will allow over 45 of the world’s leading galleries to present a breathtaking array of both contemporary and historic pieces that embody the transformative power of ‘blue sky thinking’ in design—spanning the past, present, and future in remarkable ways.

It emphasises designs that break free from expectations through imaginative approaches, thoughtful material innovation, and a profound respect for our natural world—all uniting us beneath one expansive sky.

Under One Sky: A Global Outlook
Emphasising the beauty of our global community, this theme brings together galleries from across the globe at Design Miami, showcasing the artistic voices of diverse backgrounds and their unique contributions.
Featured Galleries and Presentations to Anticipate
The Future Perfect (New York) will dazzle us with an interpretation of the “Blue Sky” theme through a curated selection of nearly 100 new works from over 20 talented artists and designers, including Anina Major, Laurids Gallée, Olivia Cognet, Vikram Goyal, and Sophie Lou Jacobsen. Charles Burnand Gallery (London) is set to celebrate futuristic thinking, showcasing the limitless possibilities of creative expression through remarkable materials used by innovative designers like Heechan Kim and Steven John Clark. Southern Guild (Cape Town/Los Angeles) will return to Design Miami with an exciting presentation of contemporary ceramics created by 12 extraordinary African artists who are making waves in the international medium. Gallery FUMI (London) aims to trace the history of groundbreaking design, mixing traditional craftsmanship with contemporary works, and will debut several pieces commissioned especially for the fair, featuring acclaimed designers like Max Lamb, Eelko Moorer, Emma Witter, and Sam Orlando Miller. Sarah Myerscough Gallery (London) will explore the intricate forms and dimensions of the bedroom space, showcasing how this personal sanctuary is deeply connected to our human needs. For the first time in the fair’s Curio program, Lamb Gallery (London) will invite visitors into a welcoming living room setting with its immersive exhibition, "Magnetic Midnight Maison," which showcases Lucía Echavarría’s latest capsule collection. Lastly, David Gill Gallery (London) will take us on a journey examining themes of form, material, and colour, inspired by Antoine de Saint-Exupéry’s profound quote: “Perfection is achieved not when there is nothing more to add, but when there is nothing left to take away.”
