Australian Interior Design Awards 2026

The Australian Interior Design Awards is an industry-based program that recognises excellence in interior design by Australian-based professionals, with eligible projects located internationally. Backed by the Design Institute of Australia, it operates as a self-funding, not-for-profit partnership with Architecture Media and is positioned as a national program with international relevance. Judging is conducted through an anonymous, transparent and confidential peer-review process by a jury of eminent designers, led by a convenor appointed by the Design Institute of Australia.

The program addresses the professional interior design sector and associated design industries, supported through Architecture Media’s InteriorsAu and program partners including Dulux, Space, Bowermans, Sub-Zero & Wolf, Laminex, Elton Group, Roca, Nightworks and GH Commercial. Shortlisted, commended and awarded projects are permanently added to the Awards gallery and receive media recognition across newspapers, magazines and websites in Australia and beyond.
