Sandy Anghie Architect is a Perth-based residential architecture practice founded in 2015 and led by Sandy Anghie, providing new homes, extensions, renovations and full refurbishments for homeowners across Western Australia, including holiday houses and heritage-sensitive additions. The practice is defined by a collaborative, client-focused approach rather than a fixed house style, with projects shaped by clients’ aspirations and budgets, as well as site conditions, light, ventilation, landscape, and neighbourhood character. Its work shows a particular strength in transforming existing homes to improve liveability, natural light and connections to gardens or views while remaining responsive to established streetscapes and planning requirements. Sandy Anghie’s combination of architectural practice, legal experience and design advocacy further distinguishes the studio, alongside leadership in Perth Design Week and recognition, including the 2020 Australian Institute of Architects WA Emerging Architect Prize and the 2018 National Association of Women in Construction Social Responsibility in Construction Award.
