Robert Frith leads Acorn Photo, a commercial photography studio based in Subiaco, Western Australia, that specialises in architecture and interiors, industrial work, portraits, food, education, tourism and art documentation. The studio works with a broad range of clients, including architecture and interior design practices, minerals, energy and agricultural businesses, schools and universities, hospitality and tourism operators, and artists and major art collections. Its approach is centred on strong photographic craft, technical capability and adaptability, with a focus on producing distinctive images across varied environments and briefs. Acorn’s work has been published in Australian and international design media, and its art documentation practice extends back to the early 1990s. The studio also works beyond Western Australia when required and maintains a community-minded commitment through annual charitable giving of about 1 per cent of turnover.
